So, like many of you, I recently graduated. I am taking my NCLEX in a few days and have yet to find a job. I know this seems premature to some, but I already had
a job secured. All I had to do was to take my boards by a certain date and my dream job (on the unit I precepted on) was mine! The problem is: a few shakeups in human resources; a few errors on the schools behalf of submitting the correct paperwork on time; and lots of displaced trust and hope on my end.
Now, my family has all of the confidence in the world that I will pass my NCLEX and secure a job just as easy as the first "offer". However, I'm quickly learning that that's not the case.
Does anyone have any advice for me in dealing with pesky friends, family, fiance, and others who are constantly nagging me about my job hunt/ studying/ future plans?
It is INCREDIBLY depressing to say the least. And the worst part is, there are thousands of others out there in my same shoes.
