Hi everyone! I've visited a particular thread with the list of requirements for application, however, I wish to know which hospitals are currently open to hire and absorb nurses. :specs:

To everyone.. The present Volunteer Nurses at Taguig Distrcict Hospital will end their services this coming December or January I think. When I applied there last June 2009 I turned down their offer as a volunteer nurse since there was also an offer from PAF. The program will end for 6 months of volunteer service to their hospital and the shifting will commence from 6 AM to 6 PM. Toxic ad tiring right? But take the initiative to pass a resume,TOR, diploma, board rating and ofcourse a recommendation, barangay recommendation will do coz I got mine before even though I didn't know the officials in our district..haha..:D:D:D..I passed my credentials last March and was texted by our district hospital for an interview on June 2009. Make it sure you already have your BLS and IVT card. Trainings and seminars will be a plus factor to be selected.BUt before anything else try to call the hospital first for any confirmation if they will accept again for their voluntary nursing service..GodBLess to all..:yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah:

Nope they are not particular with the applicants. Make it sure you have your recommendation letter.. a Barangay Recommendation or from your mayor that is addressed to the said hospital will suffice. Hope that helps.

hello salingcatcat..nice to know that we both passed the NLE..I'm also a NOv.08 passer..it's just that I landed a job in PAF. There are no restrictions in PAF.. as long as you're a fresh graduate and a displaced worker from abroad. You will be interviewed by panel of interviewers but believe me the interview will not last for 10 minutes. Don't worry my dear colleagues..I'll inform you once there will be a hiring again. Keep the faith and pray always.:D:D:D

Hi narscathy,

I just passed the OJT exam and got a text message yesterday. They want me to pass my requirements as soon as possible. YAY! :yeah: Wish me luck! :yeah: Will I still expect an interview afterwards? I also want to know if the PAF's OJT progrom and their DOLE program are the same because I heard our exam proctor that the test they're offering is for "RN Residency". I'm kind of curious what is what. :D Many thanks for your enlightenment.

hello tinesirk...Sad to say my dear colleague that the PAF's OJT RN Residency was different from DOLE Program which I'm employed right now. It just so happened that in PAF website there was a hiring for nurses, PT, doctors, midwife and etc. I had a friend who was on the process to start his RN Residency in Villamor Airbase but unfortunately the hospital didn't contacted him due to influx of applicants. They were going to hire for 6 nurses or more for their RN Residency. But as of now there are 30 nurses who are currently working in Villamor Airbase. I don't know if the PAFGH will going to extend our contracts for another 6 months. The decision will be based upon the prerogative of the DND, if they will going to extend our work then most probably they will be on freeze hiring again or your application will be put on hold. Like what happened here in Mactan Airbase, there are 6 nurses who are ready to start their RN Residency this coming January. Our chief nurse told us that it will depend if our contract will extended or not then most probabaly those nurses who are on the stand by mode will be put on hold as of the moment. The interview will just be easy, relax you're going to make it, just trust yourself though. Goodluck on your residency and GodBless!!!

any other ongoing job offers for nurses in manila? :)

There is an 6 opening slot here in our hospital. I believe in all Airbase Hospitals also in Clark,Villamor, Sangley, Lipa, Basa and Zamboanga. But unfortunately they will going to hire those who are the sons and daughters of the higher officials inside the airbase. It's very unfair and bias to us civilian nurses though.

Hoping for a fruitful year this 2010 in searching for a staff nurse position :coollook:

hi manudelrosario!!

where did you take your man program and what are their requirements? thanks!!

Hi Shubichilipepper! I am currently taking up my MAN program at Trinity University of Asia. Try to search the details for admission through http://www.tua.edu.ph
