Hello there, fellow RNs! Have you ever applied for a staff nurse position this year at The Medical City? How was your application, pre-employment, training, and hiring experience? Share us your thoughts!

As of my experience, I went to The Medical City on the first week of April 2013 as a walk-in applicant for a staff nurse position. I wrote my name, phone number, and board rating on their logbook for aspiring nurse applicants. Then after 2 months, I received a text message last June 3 to take their pre-employment nursing examination on June 4. I took the exam, then told us to wait for a text message on or before June 9 to inform us if we passed the examination. Then last June 6, I received a text message from their HR department that I passed the nursing exam and informed us to take the psychological exam on June 7. I took the exam and informed us to wait for a call or text message on or before June 16 if we passed the exam.

Hi, noralyn! You just need to write your name, contact number, and board rating. No need to submit any requirements. A logbook is provided for nurse applicants. And you really need to be patient to wait for them to contact you. I'm not sure if they prioritize the ones who have a higher board rating.

--i know all are given equal chances :) you just need to pass their series of exams and interviews. :)

Hi xyzabcd! I haven't received any text message yet from the HR. My friend who took the exams with us haven't received any text message also. We were waiting yesterday. How about you?

But my friend who took the nursing and psych exams last February told me that there was also a delay for more than a week after the deadline provided to them when he received the text message for the scheduled interview. So we are still hoping to receive a text message from them within this month.

same here. have not received any text yet regarding schedule of initial interview which I believe most of the examiners passed the psych exam. i texted hr yesterday around 8pm i asked if they already started informing those who passed the psych exams and will be for interview but I got no reply from her. lets just wait we might receive sms this week.

Hi guys, I'm new here, I just wrote on their logbook last Friday (July 10, 2014) and just received a text message from them today(July 15, 2014) telling me to take the qualifying exams on Monday (July 21, 2014). The sad thing is, I accidentally deleted their text message because they need me to reply to them using my full name to confirm, anyone of you who has been texted also? can you send me their contact number?

hi! i took the exam yesterday. and i think we're a bit "too many" who took it.

do you guys have any idea what's the employment process at TMC? and for how long it will take?

is this for "training" with fee or employment?:dead:
