I was just wondering if any one has received a response from SLMC GC about the schedule of PGNT1 for batch 2? I already have submitted my requirements and I have paid the initial training fee just recently but I haven't received any text message yet about the schedule of the training. I am just a bit worried because I received a call from a number I don't recognize on Friday about 5:30 AM and I wasn't able to answer it. SLMC told me that the training will probably start last Friday but then again I haven't received any text message from them. I hope the number is not theirs and that the training will start soon. :|

Hi guys! I just passed my resume today, and i'm hoping I'll be included on their upcoming batch. How do they select applicants? Do they have school preference? Because so far I have no batchmates working at slmc. I hope I get considered.

Hi nehgarcia! I also passed my application in SLMC-GC already, maybe a week ago. My concern is the same as yours. I graduated from a not so recognized nursing school. I hope they are not after the school so the chance is equal.

Specializes in Renal.

I am a staff nurse from SLMC GC and I came from a not so popular school. Just do your best during the 3 phases. they also look more of your attitude.

Hi, Im a newly registered nurse and I really want to apply to SLMC GC for PGNT.

As I've read in the previous posts, first step is to submit Resume and and Board Rating to the HR Dept. I just want to ask if to whom will I address my application letter? Also I'm from Leyte, and I don't have any relatives in Manila. Is it possible I can send my application through courier?

Thank you for the info! I hope so, they would consider my application. I actually have a 1 year experience as a staff nurse in an emergency service unit. I am now living near 'The Fort' so I really want to work in SLMC-GC. I have 2 housemates that are also staff nurses there. One of them passed my application. Looking forward to be included in the next batch of PGNT. :cat:

Hello....I would just like to ask about the hiring process in St. Luke's Global...

is it really true that they're particular with the applicant's weight in hiring?...

because I am overweight and beyond the BMI so I'm kind of hesitant to apply if I will just be rejected because of this...:bluecry1:

Anyhoo, when will be the next schedule for PGNT?

Yes, I heard they're particular with of the nurses' weight. It's not that they actually reject an applicant for not meeting their BMI requirement. It's all up to him/her to pass their requirement, and probably they would give a time period to meet the requirement. HR still needs nurses afaik.

I am also overweight but I made it to batch 9. The lady at HR advised me to lose weight because they are very particular with the BMI especially if you made it past PGNT and are considered for hiring. I called up SLMC and they told me there is no schedule yet for batch 9

It was moved to October 1 already.
