I was just wondering if any one has received a response from SLMC GC about the schedule of PGNT1 for batch 2? I already have submitted my requirements and I have paid the initial training fee just recently but I haven't received any text message yet about the schedule of the training. I am just a bit worried because I received a call from a number I don't recognize on Friday about 5:30 AM and I wasn't able to answer it. SLMC told me that the training will probably start last Friday but then again I haven't received any text message from them. I hope the number is not theirs and that the training will start soon. :|

I read from previous comments that there will be an IQ test and interview. As this is my first job application/interview ever in my life, i would like to know what to expect. Are these all the things that they will let us do for the initial screening? Is there a nursing exam that we need to pass during the initial screening? what do they ask you in the interview,is it more about current events, family, yourself or more on the nursing stuff?

When are you scheduled for exam and interview? I thought the exam is more on english and math

Hi fem. First, congrats! You're a step closer to being a part of SLMC. :) Anyway, back to your question. Re the exam, I can only confirm that it is an IQ test. However, I cannot remeber what the test was about. For your interview, I can only say three things. One, dress to impress. Come in your most presentable corporate attire. Second, always smile! During the interview, they would ask you a wide array of questions from family, experiences re nursing etc. (These were the questions they asked me.) I asked my batchmates and they told me that they were asked about other things, so be prepared! Third, be on time! Its a major no-no to arrive late so make sure to be there 30 minutes before your scheduled test/interview. Goodluck!

When are you scheduled for exam and interview? I thought the exam is more on english and math

From what I remeber, its an IQ test. I don't remeber anything about math and language. They conduct the interview in english though.

hi there! anyone here who can give any update for 2014 training schedule from SLMC? and do you guys know any other training hospitals we can go to? thanks ;)

From what I know, the HR dept does not disclose training dates. Just drop by SLMC GC and pass your credentials (curriculum vitae/board rating) if you want to try out.

I think we (me and my friend) are already in for SLMC but i dont wanna be a trigger happy because the HR personnel who interviewed me said that they still dont have a definite date for the batch 10 but what we can do most is just wait for their sms confirmation within december. I just wanna share that most of the questions were more about me and my nursing/college life and how will i manage to go back and forth there because i live in qc. The iq exam was ok, it's just that you're under pressure to answer all the items (if im not mistaken, 60 items) within a span of 15 minutes (i wasnt able to answer everything). Guess it's just my luck that time coz the day of the interview was my birthday. Really prayed that God will give this to me as my bday gift.

When did you passed your credentials? I passed mine last week of september.

@femlem: Hi! Can you please give an example of the IQ Test you have taken. Is it hard? More of what? Abstract reasoning?
