Hi nurses! I'm a newly passed registered nurse this june 2013. I'm very much interested in the pgnt of st.lukes. I would like to ask if they are still accepting newly RNs? What are the requirements and when will be the next start of training? Thank you so much!

dianobleada: AFAIK, SLMC QC have stopped accepting application for PGNT 2013. They have a fully booked schedule of training. I am also aware that passing of requirements for PGNT is now thru ONLINE. Try on SLMC GC. Anyway, if you are a fresh graduate, complete all the requirements (board rating, board cert, PNA ID, PRC ID) and the basic training (IVT, BLS). It will be your basic credentials to apply for any training. Most of the hospitals would need those credentials. Of course, it would be easier if you have completed them prior to any job/ training applications. As for my case, I have issues applying in a hospital because they don't accept IVT Training Cert, only the ID. And it is so unfair because it is not my fault that ANSAP is taking a long time to release my IVT License. LOL. Anyway, Goodluck in finding the right hospital for you Just finish first your Oath Taking as well and other training. Be PATIENT!

Good day nurses! My friend and I passed our credentials (TOR, Board rating and curriculum vitae) last week, July 17. We both received a text for an initial screening process for PGNT. Based on the old posts, there was a mental capacity exam and an interview with the HR. If I may ask, what is the exam exactly about? And what do they ask in the interview? I am really nervous since this will be my first interview as a registered nurse.

By the way for those who would wish to apply for PGNT, leave your credentials at the HR Office rather than leaving it with the guards. From what I've heard, results are faster when you leave it at HR.

Hi Jazz! I actually submitted my requirements twice! The first was on the 15th. I didn't have my board rating yet at that time so I passed again on the 17th with my friend. Actually the guard also tried getting our credentials a the time but we politely declined and insisted that we need to go to the HR. If you plan to pass again, bring a valid ID so the guards can give you an applicant's pass.

Regarding the schedules, I'm not really sure because our screening is still due next week.

Just leave your curriculum vitae and board rating at the HR office near the employees entrance. When we passed ours last week I heard they were processing applications. Good luck!

Re my first post, I just remembered that I didn't pass my TOR @ SLMC-Global. Only my board rating and CV

Is it really true that results are faster when you leave it at the HR? I passed mine yesterday but only to the guard at the employee entrance. I tried to get in but he told me that all walk-in applicants leave their resume at them and then he gave me the long envelope with other resums in it. After that he let me signed from a log-in sheet.
