I was just wondering if any one has received a response from SLMC GC about the schedule of PGNT1 for batch 2? I already have submitted my requirements and I have paid the initial training fee just recently but I haven't received any text message yet about the schedule of the training. I am just a bit worried because I received a call from a number I don't recognize on Friday about 5:30 AM and I wasn't able to answer it. SLMC told me that the training will probably start last Friday but then again I haven't received any text message from them. I hope the number is not theirs and that the training will start soon. :|

Where's the HR in SLMC-Global City located? And what are the requirements if I intend to apply? :)

The Manpower, Planning and Staffing is located at Basement 1.

I think SLMC informs applicants thru text. In your case (living in the province), you can maximize your day by passing requirements in all the hospitals in the Metro (within the day) so that your travel will be worthwhile. Pass your requirements now, I think most of the hospitals are accepting applicants.

Thank you kayern07, i should really maximize my time there. By the way, i lack my class ranking and GWA, hm, do you have any idea how long will it take for me to have it? I wasn't able to read this forum before, should have leave my resume at SLMC GC as well

That I'm not sure of. It depends on how fast your school releases papers like that. Good luck!:)

Are they starting to screen applicants for batch 5? Thank you

Hello, I submitted my resume at SLMC GC last week. I just wanted to ask if incase I got the chance to be included in PGNT or paid training, what are the requirements that I needed to submit? Am I required to submit a GWA and Class ranking?because I have backread and saw that those requirements are under the req. when you apply in SLMC QC, how about in GC are they still requiring it?

and Lastly, is there somebody here who are already a USRN,did you still put it on your resume? I am just curious on how the hospital look at it,because maybe if they found out that you are already a passer of NCLEX or CGFNS they would just ignore your applications due to plans on going abroad. Thanks and more power to you all.

For SLMC GC, no need to submit for GWA and class ranking. All they need is TOR, Board rating and resume. If you are included in the next batch, other requirements will be discussed to you on the orientation day like ID pics and photocopy of PRC ID, etc.

If I'm not mistaken I did put on my resume that I passed NCLEX. However the interviewer, did not seem to notice it in my resume for some reason because she asked if any of us pass NCLEX or IELTS. I did say yes but I defended it by saying that I don't have any pending applications abroad. I got in, so I guess they didn't take it against me.

It's really up to you, if you want to put it or not. The reason that I included it, was that perhaps they will look at it as a plus that I passed NCLEX because technically I'm allowed to practice in the US which means that I know the standards of nursing practice there, which in a way is what SLMC GC is trying to follow.

However, looking back at it, putting it there didn't give me any edge against other applicants because all of us in our group got in. Without it, I think I would still be accepted. When they see your application, I think they will text you primarily because of your board rating. Then you need to pass the IQ or logic test. After that, you will be interviewed. If you can answer the questions well then it's almost 100% that they will accept you.

Congratulations Batch 4... :) Are they starting to screen applicants for batch 5? Thank you
I don't have any news regarding PGNT Batch 5 yet but I'll make sure to post it here once I get the info. :)

GWA and class ranking are only required in SLMC-QC. Just go directly in SLMC-Global at manpower and staffing office in basement 1. They will just ask for resume and PRC rating only and will contacted you for your interview and exam. If your not familiar in slmc global just go directly at the lobby, just tell the guard your an applicant for nurse trainee thats it. Don't be afraid to ask as always.
