Renewing PH RN license from ABROAD

Hello guys. I heard about CPD units. I've been renewing my RN license twice already with my batchmate as an authorized representative. During those renewals, I was not required to submit proof for fulfilling CPD units because I live here in the U.S. Do I still need to fulfill that from abroad, now that PRC requires CPD? I humbly need your answers especially those who are residing outside the Philippines now. Thank you.

You have to follow the PRC procedure by obtaining the required CPD units for RN profession. Visit prc.gov.ph for the recent update and the required CPD points. I have a friend who went to PRC last 3 months and was able to renew bypassing the CPD. She was told that since it is the first year of implementing they are not that strict, but please follow the procedure, it happened last 3 months, if you renew now things might change.

Hi vinnyfromtheblock,

Any updates on your PRC ID renewal? I need a license verification for CGFNS CES report for my RN endorsement application. I was told that I need an active PRC license in order to get the verification so I would need to renew my PRC ID. But I am here in The U.S. and I am also a US citizen, so I am unsure if PRC will renew my license. I do have CEUs but I don't know if PRC will accept those. I tried calling PRC but it always goes to voicemail. :-( If you can please give me some info on how you did your renewal. Thank you!
