anyone who passed the exam and interview last April 25 or 26 2011? have you received text from SRO or POEA regarding the medical referral/briefing? im just worried why i still didn't receive a text from them. i already start my dfa authentication. another question, it is really required that certificate of employment should be signed by nursing service director? because in hospital where i worked, only the HR manager will signed our Certificate of employment, but i already have my Recommendation letter signed by our nursing service director. what should i do now? hope you reply from this message. thank you.

@rochy.xela: hi! im from the April 29, 2011 delegation..I passed the exam and interview. I also signed the LOA and gave me the medical refferal, but they did not give me the LOA on hand too! they told me i have to wait for the text of POEA or visit poea's website if my name is already on the list for medical..I hope they will text me sooner! Im just thinking maybe their going to finish the delegation first before they would schedule the applicants for medical..

I'm here in Saudi and am soon going back to the Philippines because contract will be finished. Like some others here, the institution I am now in has terrible management. They are requiring us to work for 7 days (meaning-- without a dayoff) without even asking us if it's okay. Work is heavy. It's just a polyclinic and the monthly salary is very unflattering-- 1500 riyals (i know, I'm an idiot for taking this job..but it's a long story about semi-illegal recruitment because I was told while I wasin the Philippines that I'd be working in a hosp, etc). I'm wondering if I should go home or extend my stay until at least after I am able to find another institution, preferrably a hospital this time-- that pays better and has better compensation for heavy work (should work be this heavy again, that is). My friends in the Philippines keep on telling me to just stay here because "there is no hope here (Phils) so you better stay there in the meantime".

But as I've said, management is terrible with its employees. There are too many policies almost close to slave labor. So, what do you think? If I go home, will there be a chance that I'd be able to get a job again abroad if my experience is only in a polyclinic? We have ER duty though.
hi there,, my friend is also working in polyclinic in saudi.. she just started last month.. she hasn't complained about anything yet.. i just hope she's doing fine there,, i might be applying there too.
may i ask if you can use your experience there for cross country to Canada or other better country?
    TIA
