Yes, i think we really need to have tons of patience for this one.. Haha.. And i think it's much better if you got in without needing a "backer" because a different kind of sense of fulfillment will be there.. Haha.. Anyway, Godbless you in your pgh journey.. :)

Thanks bleuler, yoo too. :D God bless us. hehe.

First of all, congrats bleuler! mikeru22's right, you're only one step away.

By the way, how did they contact you for the final interview? Did they sent an SMS or they called you? I'm really worried as I am out of the country as of the moment. I had my exam April 2011 and had my panel on July the same year. I am so excited reading the "success" stories of the people here, it keeps my faith alive.

And I do agree, it will really feel great if we got in without the help of a "backer."

Hope to meet you guys soon in PGH! :)

Wow thorabeech did you send them your updated contact number? You surely are on the queue and they will be getting a hold of you very soon. Bleuler had the panel interview in Jan 2011, you had yours in July 2011, it was just 6 months away from Bleuler's. I wish I had started earlier hehe.

Hi thorabeech.. They sent an SMS asking me to call pgh nursing service office for my final interview schedule..

@mikeru22: yup, I went there before I left to update my contact number. I also called them last month, and they told me they were already calling the people who had their panel interview on February 2011. Hehe, even if you did start processing your application late, at least you were able to get in the RN-Heals program in NCMH. It's a very good opportunity to work there while waiting for PGH.

@bleuler: Thank you and congrats again for passing the final interview. Hope they will ask call you for deployment soon.

That is right thorabeech. Being included in the RN HEALS program in NCMH is one of the things I am very thankful about. I might need to find another job after the training as there isn't any guarantee of being absorbed there but I would wait patiently for my turn in PGH. :D I will be the happiest nurse by that time hehe.

How's everyone doing? Have a great Sunday guys! It's drizzling and it's so hard to leave my bed. Hahaha. :D

Does anypne know when is the next release of the Dean's Form? I'm interested to take part in the APCN Training Program

I guess, a new batch of APCN has already started their training last February. You will have to wait for months before DNET release another set of Dean's form, which they usually do around April and November. They will post the actual day of distribution on the bulletin board at least a month prior, so I recommend that you check on them once in a while. You can do so by visiting their office or calling them through phone. but I doubt that they could give you a definite date at the moment.

JDSC's right. APCN lasts for 6 months the DNET usually announces when to release the Dean's forms shortly before or after the training ends. Calling them is advisable to avoid wasting time and effort. I wish someone can still post updates about the 2nd batch of APCN here just like what they did last time. If you guys would remember I only learned the exact date when DNET would release Dean's forms last November 2012 when somebody posted the update on the old PGH forum. You may also want to check this forum every now and then for news about it. :D

Pray that you get SET B. :D I dunno but I found my NPE a bit easy. Anyways reading MS by Udan and Fundamentals of Nursing by Sia helped me a lot during the exam. It was a 33-item multiple choice exam so all you need to do is choose the answers wisely and read the questions and choices over and over to make sure you that you didn't miss anything and above all, PRAY.
