Do you think there are still available dean's form for the APCN?
I don't think so nurses_care_2012. APCN forms are only given once per six months and it is very limited in number, you may need to wait for the next APCN batch.

mikeru22! Congrats you got your Dean's form. I also went there yesterday hahaha was #6.

i was expecting loads of people because of what i read in the previous thread but turned out to be the opposite. To all those aspiring to enter the APCN program, goodluck to all of us! God bless
Oh you must be that guy lols. I remember you now. hehe. Goodluck to us haha. I never really intended to pursue it but I tried my luck getting the form. I was initially planning to go directly to RMMC to submit my RN Heals application but I stayed in PGH to get my dean's form.

    It would be:

    1. Getting a Dean's form
    2. Submitting the requirements and getting the exam schedule
    3. Taking the exam
    4. Waiting for the list of qualified applicants (it would take a week at most after the exam; there will be 50 qualified applicants included on the list and around 5 applicants on the waiting list)
    5. Paying the full training fee before the specified date to secure a slot (if some of the qualified applicants won't be able to pay the training fee for some reasons, DNET will give a chance to the people on the waiting list to secure the remaining slot)

during our time, we didn't had an interview.
Hi JDSC, if I may ask how many items were there in the exam and was it multiple choice or there were enumeration part as well?

I forgot to mention, APCN did increase their fee in regards to the program. Which surprised me a lot.

That's right. It will be 14, 900 this time. I'm done securing my requirements for APCN but if I will be included in RN Heals 4, I would prefer that than APCN.

It's a 50-item exam, around 40 to 45 items multiple choice and 5 to 10 points computation (can't remember exactly ) to be answered for 30 mins. topics are funda and MS.. It was the similar exam that was described in the previous thread. There's no enumeration part. I was part of the 32nd batch.. am not sure if there are changes.

Thank you JDSC for sharing, I appreciate it. 50 Items in a short span of time yay. It's like the qualifying exam in St. Luke's. Geez. You won't have time to think too much about a certain item. You need to move on to the next one as soon as you can before the time's up.

Just the PRC license. I went there today... I was number 16 lols. I came in too early while ironically I was thinking I wouldn't make it because it was already 6am when I got there. They were conducting the orientation for the newly hired staff nurses at the DNET office when we were allowed to come in. Oh how envy them. Hehe. Oh well I will make that scene in my mind as my motivation to persevere more and have more patience waiting for the right time. #almosttherebutnotquite

To those who got the APCNs dean's form but later on was accepted for RN Heals (or other job), will you still submit/ try to take the exam/ carry on for the APCN?
