Metropolitan Medical Center currently hiring staff nurses

Hi! For those interested, just this morning I heard from a newly hired staff nurse in Metropolitan Medical Center that the hospital is currently hiring staff nurses. Sadly, I can't apply there for personal reasons.

Do any of you know other hospitals there in Manila or QC that are also currently hiring staff nurses without undergoing months of volunteer training prior to employment? Kindly inform me please.

By the way, my informant said the give preference to chinese applicants.

maybe they have just evaluated or something. me when i went there i asked the lady in the reception that i will pass my resume after telling the requirements she left the front desk then she came back after few minutes afterwards, she gets my requirements then she told me that they will just gonna give me a call. then i have this intuition that she was looking at me while walking away then i suddenly think maybe she will throw my resume because i don't look good in their eyes. :rotfl:

right now, life goes on. i don't need to waste my time waiting for them to call me.

Hey regnurse_101 so what happened on your interview? Were you interviewed at once as soon as you submitted your application? They must have at least texted you or something to inform you if you passed or not..

after the interview, they just told me that theyll text me if they will have an opening.. :)

I had the interview last year.. they told me that theyll just call me when theres an opening.. sad, but they didnt, and worse, is that alot of batches have already passed, and yet i havent received any call..

I think they expect that i have a backer, coz thats the very first question they raised.. :)

Yah, youre right... But dont give up, coz one of my friend made it even though she doesnt have any backer.. maybe because shes pretty, but when i saw her fellow orientee, not everyone were blessed with a good face..

my friend told me to just pass and pass a resume till theyll recognize you.. :)

i think they are after backer system, a face quality or a chinese blood...... i know someone who got employed because she has a pretty face..... maybe that's the first qualification....... secondly someone told me that you must have a chinese blood and know to speak in chinese..... so sad that they are not after the sincerity of applying the job

Hiring for staff nurse is ongoing. And yes, they prefer CHINESE-SPEAKING applicants.

CREDENTIALS are important no doubt, but PERSONALITY is a big factor. Make a good impression when interviewed.

Just pass your resumes and cross your fingers. They might contact you through text or call.

Training period usually happens every 2 to 3 months..
