Me and my husband are both licensed in phil and California. :typing We are applying for license by endorsement but CGFNS is requiring us to verify license at PRC, does anybody can give number at PRC or any procedure to follow. Would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.:)

Hi! Please help me with my verification?

I am licensed in the Phils and California and I'm processing endorsement for my TX license and that needs a verification from all other licenses right? I'm now in Tx, so is there a way that I can have my license verified at PRC? Can I send someone at home to do this?

What are the necessary documents? From what I've read, most of you are advising about having a document from CGFNS brought to PRC but for me, that is not required, so I don't know what other document should I show? Thanks :)

You can authorize one of your relatives to accomplished it at PRC. Send the documents that needs license verification to your relative together with the authorization letter.

Thank you for your reply! I have a follow-up question though.. How long is the verification? Will my relatives wait in just one day and would PRC give it to my relatives for them to mail or will PRC mail it themselves?

I had my sister call PRC for the requirements for the verification of my license and they told her that they need (along with application letter, Special power of attorney, photocopies of license) my General Average and Exam number. Any idea where I might get that? :)

Hi, I am in the same situation. I'm an RN here in MA for 21 yrs. now and will be moving to TX this summer. So, I need to verify my Phil. RN license that I held there when I worked as part of TX BON requirement. Yes, there is just one form from TX that needs to be verified by PRC, I am hoping that it will be quick and easy. I will ask a family member to do this for me. Are you all set with regards to your verification? How did you do it? Pease advice and thank you.

PRC will be the one responsible in mailing your forms. They will not going to give it your relatives. It will take maybe 3 days to process plus the transit time (delivery time).

These three are needed:

1. Application Letter (form from the agency requiring license verification),

2. special power of attorney (authorization letter will do) plus photocopy of your passport for Identification.

3. photocopy of your license (license must be renewed first if expired).

Don't bother the other two because they can be easily verified using your PRC license number.

Mine only took 2-3 weeks and my dad picked it up at PRC-CEBU and sent it to CGFNS by express mail. Make sure that your relative has an authorization letter with your signature in it and a copy of your valid PRC license. Good Luck!

Hi, I would just like to share my experience with regards to license verification, it might help those people who are in the same situation like me. I was very concerned too because I know that everything can take a while when you try to deal with papers in the Phil. esp., it's been a long while since I got my license there. I got my Phil. RN license in 1985.

First of all, I believe in prayers and I thank God for I believe that everything was arranged by Him. I prayed about it before I started the process, asking for guidance and direction.

I looked at the website of BON Phil., e-mailed someone over there to inquire about license verification. A board member replied to me and directed me to go through PRC. For the meantime, I faxed all the documents necessary to my relatives back home including a copy of my RN Phil. license certificate, transcript of records from the school where I graduated, marriage certificate (as proof of my name change-maiden to married name), and of course the TX form that PRC needs to complete for my verification. The processing fee all together was about 3,000 pesos.

Then I e-mailed the Chief, Registration Division about my request and told her that my relative will go to PRC and bring all the necessary documents this week. My relative called PRC first before going there to let them know that they are coming. My relatives met the Chief, Registration Division yesterday (05-05-10) and everything was arranged and mailed out by DHL right after. They said they were at PRC from 11am-2pm.

So, hopefully this will be a helpful information for others.

Hi all,

I graduated BSN in the Phils. I'm a licensed nurse in the Phils. and in CA and I'm applying for licensure by endorsement to TX. I've sent the VOL form to the CA Board so they'll take care of it. Regarding the Verification of License to PRC, will the Texas VOL form be enough?

Or will the TX BON require CGFNS-CES? I have all the other requirements in place, I'm just confused about those two things (VOL & CGFNS-CES). Thanks in advance...

I have an RN license here in MA and we are moving to TX next month. I had worked in the Philippines also as an RN for 2 years prior to coming here in MA. TX BON will require verification of all the licenses that you had in the past and that includes your Phil. license. If you read my previous post as to how I did it with PRC, it might give you an idea and it might help. Goodluck.

Has someone applied in a VA hospital here in the U.S. I'm in the process of completing requirements for pre-employment and one of them is License verification from PRC. Actually, HR in the VA was the one who's contacting PRC for license verification but it seeems like they are not getting a response from PRC and I'm planning to have a representative from the Philippines to work on that license verification to expidite the process. Does someone had the same experience? I'd like to have a contact number from PRC also so that I can talk to them personally and it seems like their website does not show any contact number

hello guys, i just wanna know how to pay for the fees if i live here in US then i request for the VOL to PRC? and are there any attachments in the mail?
