World Philippines

Published

Me and my husband are both licensed in phil and California. :typing We are applying for license by endorsement but CGFNS is requiring us to verify license at PRC, does anybody can give number at PRC or any procedure to follow. Would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.:)

Thanks Daigorot!

This is for my application for licensure for California (NCLEX-RN exam eligibility). I was just wondering if there's a simple authentication /was thinking maybe theyll just stamp it or what. I just dont want to send them a plain photocopy. I was only confused with the DFA part as my friend told me she was advised to claim her authentication at DFA! :-)

PM was sent for you.

Hi! Can you help me please coz I request a License Verification at PRC and PRC send it to CGFNS. The CGFNS already received it but us I checked it in CGFNS order status it say "received by not accepted". Is anyone here experience this kind of problem. thanks in advance.

You mention that PRC will accomplished the license verification form that you got from CGFNS, is this form available in CGFNS website. Sorry I have no idea about it. thanks for your help.

I have a question. How long does it need to take for the VOL to reach CGFNS coming from PRC. coz i have already requested and submitted the VOL form to PRC last november, paid the 75 pesos for the mailing fee but for some strange reason, CGFNS has not received it yet. i regularly check my status with CGFNS. is PRC working that turtle slow? HELP PLS!

Are you processing your CGFNS-CES or CGFNS-CP?

Anyhow, you can download the forms at CGFNS website. Just get the page "Request for Validation of Registration...". There is a part where you will write your info. The part for Registration Authority will be accomplished by PRC.

I suggest that you must verify the status by calling CGFNS and ask them why it is not accepted, then ask them what you must do to expedite the process. If they tell you to redo the license verification then you must comply.

Actually 75 pesos is the fee for License verification (or Validation of license). And 101 pesos must be paid for regular mailing and 21 pesos for documentary stamp. In my case, CGFNS received the form in the 10th day using regular mailing.

Recall if you paid all the needed fees, if not, go to PRC again.

Yeah I can relate to that. I passed my VOL to PRC November 6 then CGFNS received my documents December 21. I just sent it through regular mail and PRC told me it will take a month but if its through courier it will only be for a week. Best of luck!

it depends, if you opted to go for EMS (national courier) it woillt ake about 1 month or longer..but if DHL can deliver it to CGFNS in 1 day...DHL will cost you more though

DHL cannot deliver your letter within 1 day. DHL can deliver it within 2-3 days plus you can track it online.

EMS is faster than regular mail. EMS has a tracking number too, cost more than regular mail. You can track it too when it reaches in the US...using USPS tracking system. FYI.

DHL, UPS and Fed-Ex are the only services from the Philippines which provide accurate tracking.

USPS services are not available outside the USA.

Yes, USPS services are not available outside the USA however registered mails and EMS from Philippines and other countries that are bound to USA are being receive by USPS when these letters are already in US jurisdiction. Who do you expect to deliver these letters to the different addresses in the USA, Filipino postman? When these letters reaches the USPS facilities, these letters with tracking numbers will be scanned in order to be included in their database of letters. By then we can use the USPS online tracking system to check the where about of our letters.

FYI

Philippine Post tracking is not always carried over into the USPS system.

I'm telling you from experience that the only way to be certain that your tracking data is correct is to use DHL, Fed-EX or UPS. All of these three offer 3-day service as opposed to the 1-2 week service you'd get out of the unreliable Philippine Postal service.

That's one of the biggest problems that nurses in the Philippines face when trying to apply for licensure in the USA is that most of the BONs use surface rate mail and more than half of it just gets lost or misdirected once it arrives in the Philippines.

Of course, to be fair a large factor is the very different address system used in the Philippines so those completing the address at BON do not always encode it correctly and it ends up in a different township or barangay with the same name on the other side of the islands.

Hi! Please help me with my verification?

I am licensed in the Phils and California and I'm processing endorsement for my TX license and that needs a verification from all other licenses right? I'm now in Tx, so is there a way that I can have my license verified at PRC? Can I send someone at home to do this?

What are the necessary documents? From what I've read, most of you are advising about having a document from CGFNS brought to PRC but for me, that is not required, so I don't know what other document should I show? Thanks :)
