All RPN-BSN bridge programs are 3 years. I would think that any of the bridge programs would accpet an IEN.

do i need additional schooling before i could be accepted by universities and start studying 2 years? what is academic pathway/ or bridging they say? is that not a part of the 2 years?

Bridge programs include 1 year bridging and then the last 2 years are the BSN rpogram I think. The bridging takes 3 years any ways.

You would be best to look at the requirements set out by the program. They will have the requirements on the website. Did you have a certain school in mind?

oh so there is no such thing as 2 year univwrsity only without that bridging? im thinking of york university or humber... but york seems impossible for me to get in as i have to compete with hundreds or maybe thousands of applicants just to get one of the 50 slots. :) im thinking of humber but im wondering if i still need to get an assessment from cno? because if i wanted to go back to shool in the first place why would i still need to wait for cno to assess my papers and just tell me that i need to go back to school.. :) thank you for your responses :)

The CNO has nothing to do with going back to school. If you are licensed as an RPN in Ontario you can apply to an RPN-BSN bridging program. It is the school that determines if you are eligible for the bridging program, not the CNO. No there is no such thing as a 2 year BSN program. If you are an RPN and you want to become a BSN youmust take a 3 year bridge.
