Hiring statistics needed for my divorce

Does anyone know where to find Alberta (especially Edmonton and area) hiring statistics to indicate to a divorce judge that obtaining a job is very difficult right now especially for a person who hasn't worked as a RN for 16 years. I've been a stay-at-home-mother and am currently obtaining my recertification and hopefully done by the end of the year.

Unfortunately, after following posts on this forum I think I will be lucky to get an interview, not alone a job...ANY job, in any area of nursing! While I would love to print off threads from this wonderful forum as proof, I am not sure the judge will go for it. :-)

I think having these relevant statistics, or even something similar, would help my case in terms of amount and duration of spousal support.

TIA for any suggestions! :-)

Have you thought about contacting AHS' human resources department and asking them to compile them for you? They'd probably say no, but I don't think you have anything to lose by having the conversation. The other place you might be able to get help is the United Nurses of Alberta. Their researchers have a lot of very pertinent information at their fingertips. You can call UNA's head office in Edmonton and ask to speak to one of them. Their phone number is easily obtained from their web site.

Janfrn…great ideas…and thank you for your response!
