Adam was walking around the Garden of Eden feeling very lonely.

So God asked him what was wrong.

Adam replied that he didn't have anyone to talk to.

God said he would make Adam a companion and it would be a woman.

God said "This beautiful lady will gather food for you and cook delicious meals for you. When you discover clothing, she will wash it for you. She will always agree with every decision you make, won't nag you, always be the first to admit she's wrong when you disagree. She will look after you and bear you children. She will never have a headache and will give you love and passion whenever you want it."

Adam said to God, "Wonderful. What would such a woman cost me?"

God replied, "An arm and a leg"

Adam asked, "What can I get for a rib?"

And the rest is history...
