There was a lady during my OB rotation in school who heard the word "meconium" used in the del room and thought that was a lovely name for her little girl. Nobody could convince her that calling her baby "****" wasn't a nice thing to do. I sometimes wonder how little Meconium grew up.

This makes me think of the movie "Where the Heart Is" where she names her kids after what she was craving during pregnancy. "Baby Ruth" "Cherry" "Praline" and "Brownie" Haha

I once knew a kid whose last name was Butz, whose parents named him Richard Jr. after his father. Since his father had already claimed the nickname "Rick" he had to go by one of the more common nicknames for Richard. At least they had the decency to not saddle him with my first name!

I worked at a pediatric dental office before nursing school... these are some of the best I can remember:

First, middle, last name: Winter Cashmere Coats (I swear to Jesus, I could not make that up!)

A family of four: Sequoia, Camry, Solara, Avalon (All Toyota vehicles. Funny enough, the Mom drove a Chevy!)

    JTPrincess. Dad's name started with a J, Mom's with a T.

I also know of a girl I went to high school with who just named her baby girl AnaLyse (she spells/capitalizes it this way) Anal... her daughter's name starts with Anal. Bless this poor child's heart!

Working OB and saw a birth certicate for a baby boy.....Levi Wrangler H....I guess he was the result of his parents' "genes" combining! We said we were glad mom and dad's favorite brand of denims wasn't OshKosh!

LOL!! Pronounced "Anna leese"... but children are so cruel, I don't think it will take long for one of them to start calling her "anal eeze"!
