san diego scripps & UCSD hospital new grad rn applications

Hello all~

I am about to graduate August 24th, 2014 with my MSN-Ed and am embarking on the dreaded Job Search as a new grad RN in San Diego. I did an entry level RN-MSN program. I applied to both UCSD new grad RN IMU and Scripps new grad RN DEU positions this past week. has anyone else applied? I don't feel that I am very strong applicant....I do however have previous healthcare experience (5 years) in healthcare administration; a previous B.S in microbiology; ACLS;BLS and a 3.7 nursing GPA. I have no volunteer experience because I have been a stay at home mom while getting my RN and MSN. Any who, I was wondering if most people that are applying have ADN's, BSN's or MSN's. And what kind of extra certifications you had when you applied.
