Job Hunting in Norfolk/Suffolk/Chesapeake/Portsmouth!

Hi everyone,

I am a senior nursing student in my last semester (yay!). I am looking to get a job in Virginia (the Virginia Beach area.. but anything in Norfolk, Suffolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, etc. are open to me, as long as it's near that area.) I am currently living in NC. Does anyone from that area have any tips as to when I should begin putting in applications? Some hospitals I have looked into are:

Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters

Sentara (Norfolk General, VA Beach General, etc.)

Bon Secours (Depaul, Maryview)

Chesapeake Regional Medical Center

I was also wondering if anyone had any tips on how to be noticed and get my name out there when I am so far away from the area right now!
