Hey guys.... I recently became a RN and I am currently in the process of trying to switch jobs. I would have never imagined that I would be this hard. I actually for a call for a travel agency a couple of days ago and I am really thinking about taking it. The problem is is that I don't have any RN experience... How long did it take you guys to did jobs? HELP!!!!!!

It took me about a hundreds of applications while studying for the NCLEX but, I landed my first job 2 weeks after passing the exam. If I were you, i would be open to working in other clinical settings because getting a job in the hospital can be tricky at times. Consider applying for RN internships and stay away from home health as a new grad. Best wishes and good luck on your Job Search.

Are you talking about switching Nursing Jobs, or switching from your non-nursing job to your first nursing job? If you are currently in a nursing job you should carefully consider whether or not you want to leave before one to two years have elapsed.
