Have my license in ca but wanting to move....

Hello, I took the nclex in california but I was looking to move to Miami, Florida. Can I use my license to work out there or do I need to take another test for florida?? If anyone can help me with this one I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much!!!

You will need to endorse your California licensure into the state of Florida. You'll need to contact the Florida Board of Nursing for specific details on how to accomplish this.

I completed an LVN program in California, then moved to Texas a month later. I took NCLEX in Texas for the California BVNPT. When I received my initial licensure for California, I simply endorsed it into Texas by applying, sending them a fingerprint card, and other paperwork.
