Work abroad as an EN

World Australia

Published

Hi all,

I'm wondering once I become an EN, does this lead to work abroad as well ?

or just there is only a permission to work in Australia ?

Does anyone answer the question please ?

Not many countries have EN's, Canada and USA have LPN's which can be classed as similar but for the US LPN doesn't meet work permit or Immigrant visa requirements. Canada well you will have to meet provincial college requirements and pass the exam before being considered for permit but then you have to find a employer willing to pay $$$ to prove to the government that they can not employ locally or from within Canada

Thanks for the reply. then can I say like if someone asks you are registered or not and the answer can go like yes I'm registered as an en ? registered and non-registered are comprehensive meaning i guess.

registered means you have passed the legal requirements to work in the field of study.

sounds tricky though then EN(=LPN) is not able to say I'm registered ?

I'm trying to decide if you are a troll or just dense.

a nurse must pass the national licensing exam and legal requirements to work in the province or country of residence.

any fool can make it through nursing school and graduate with a degree or diploma, it seems

Already reported them Fiona, they have asked multiple times about topping up their education in Ireland and is unwilling to acknowledge the advice. Really frustrating.
