From Registered Nurse to Assistant Nurse planning to work in Australia

Hi. I'm a Registered Nurse from Myanmar. I've worked there for a year as a Perioperative Nurse. I was offered a job as an Assistant Nurse in Brunei Darussalam. Given the situation of working in Myanmar (overworked, underpaid), I grabbed the chance for a greener pasture. I'm on my 2nd contract year now. The employer promised to give an upgrade to Registered Nurse after a year. Unfortunately, it didn't happen.

In order to practice as a nurse in my home country, we have to finish a 4-year Bachelor's Degree plus a board exam. Our host country's local nurses need only 3 years of Diploma in Nursing.

I think we were deceived because our job title is Assistant Nurse BUT we are working as Registered Nurses. The hospital where I'm working do not follow job descriptions strictly. I feel like I am not growing professionally.

Another problem is, some locals (SOME) are really lazy. I'm not trying to calculate the amount of work I'm giving but locals will just usually sit, write reports, and expatriates (Assistant Nurses) will do the bulk of the work. What's funny is, their salary is higher than what we are receiving. Annual paid leave is only SEVEN DAYS.

Now I'm planning to move to Australia and I know I have the chance to become an RN there. My concern is, I have a longer experience as an Assistant Nurse. Do you think I have chances of being hired in any healthcare facility?
