Since nmc put on hold all the papers and resume this year, is there anyone who was put on queue this 2013 and received the decision letter? I would like to know if 90 days waiting period really followed. Its really frustrating knowing that it only took 1 month before to process this. Please share your experiences. Thanks!

@mac_ayangco that happened to me as well. after waiting for 4 months, they've just sent me a letter stating that my clinical hours does not meet the nmc standards so i need to contact my school and should be sending a new clinical summary and confirmation letter from school. My university from the Philippines mailed the letter last friday and upon tracking, it shows that the nmc received it monday afternoon. i tried ringing them but they told me it will appear in their system in 10 working days. i am so annoyed!!

@doritz04 does that mean we have to wait again for another 90days? So devastating! :-(

@mac_ayangco @doritz04 Hi! Did you try emailing them about your situation? That happened to me too. I was put on queue on 19th of June and I was told on the 4th of October that I had to redo my 2nd Reference Form because my referee was the HR and Training Officer. She was promoted after she supervised me then promoted again to Chief Nurse after I resigned. I was also told that I had to wait another 90 days. I emailed the NMC explaining my situation and my agent called them numerous times and they finally told her to send back my redone OS2 form with a covering letter explaining that my referee was promoted. My agent thinks that I won't have to wait another 90 days from what information she got from the NMC though she cannot guarantee it. I'm still waiting for the new form since it takes ages for it to arrive from the UK to the Philippines.

A friend of mine had a bad experience before she got her decision letter as well. She was told to send her passport again because it had already expired. But she had already sent it because they wouldn't send her her 2nd pack if she didn't submit the new one. She was also told that she had to repeat 90 days but she emailed them and they were able to sort out and release her decision letter. Calling doesn't help. I don't know what's wrong but NMC agents tell you conflicting information and updates and in my experience, they really cannot help except updating you on your application. Even though they respond to emails really late but they give a better solution to your predicament as from the experience of my friend. I hope this helps...

thank u sapphireangel do u mind giving me the email add? thanks much:)

@doritz04 It's [email protected]. Make sure that you indicate your PRN no and your birth date on your email.

Thank you. I have called them again and said that it is now in their system file. But insisting that I have to wait for another 90days for a decision to be made. Is it advisable for me to have a representative so that my application will be fast tracked just like yours?

@mac_ayangco Actually, I did the NMC application on my own. I already have an employer in the UK and the agency that they are affiliated with are the ones following up my application. They also have told me that they cannot help with my NMC except in following it up, getting information and updates on what to do with my application because of confidentiality issues. So, I really don't know if getting a representative helps.

im on the same boat, they mailed me again requesting my registration certificate from saudi arabia where i worked, i didnt have registration when i worked there, we werent required. the only active registration i have is back home, philippines. I explained everything on letter and attached certified copies of my employment certificates. fingers crossed..

Hey guys, any updates?

I'm confused a bit, is the decision letter you are referring to the one you receive telling you whether you need the ONP or a 3 month training period, or the one after the ONP? I've completed my ONP 10th of October, sent the letter ASAP and have been in queue since the 17/10 and already very nervy about waiting for another day. Reading your posts, if I have to wait the 90 days or more... I don't know. Anyone else get their letter? What was the waiting period? The NMC have been making me send everything like 10 times, really hoping they don't invent any more stumbling blocks. Good luck to everyone.

Hi! I have emailed them for over a week now but I haven't received a reply from them. I only received the automated reply right after emailing them but the actual reply, I haven't received anything yet from them. So, I would like to know when did you received an email from them after you emailed them? @sapphireangel

@sapphireangel: got my decision letter this morning thank you for your advise of emailing them it did worked for me. apparently, they received the letter sent by school 14th of October. i kept ringing them and told me it wasn't scanned yet to my file as it will take up to 10 working days to do so. i rang them everyday and wrote a complaint letter. i rang them again and was told that my application will be on queue again for 90 days and they just received and scanned the letter last 25th. i was surprised when i got the decision letter this morning stating that i can start my adaptation now. Thank God for that!

Wow! Congratulations doritz04. I am so happy for you. I have tried to send an email to you but your email ad is invalid. By the way, analyzing your dates and the circumstance. We both share the same experience and the dates. After I have returned the documents, I was put on queue on the 25th of Oct. Luckily, you got your decision letter and I am still waiting. I have called them and the same thinf they said to me was to wait for 90 days. I have emailed them but I didn't get a reply.

Do you have any suggestion for me to do?
