IELTS Expired whilst waiting for NMC Decision Letter

World Registration

Published

Hi everyone,

I am currently waiting for my NMC Decision Letter. I registered through NMC online in June amd took and passed my CBT on 7th July. I have also sent all the documents, the last ones on 21st August, but only tagged as received on 30th August 2017.

My IELTS expired on 29th August 2017. Do you think I need to retake the exam and will invalidate my entire application? Or do I just have to take UKVI for visa application (required score 4.5 or 5.0)?

I sorted everything by myself. Yesterday, I sent my documents to ASC for a final employer's interview. Someone from ASC advised that I need to wait for my DL as they are not sure about my IELTS.

What's your take on this? Did anybody have the same experience or situation? I once read a thread here regarding an expiring IELTS before he took CBT, but no answer was given.

I am looking forward ro hearing from you.

Thank you!

Regards,

Mike

Hi mike,

May i know what happened in your application. Did it went through, even with an expired IELTS? I have the same problem as yours

The agency accepted my application, after confirming from the NMC that it is possible to proceed. If your IELTS was valid by the time of eligibility check/NMC online registration, then it's ok. Had it expired whilst waiting for an NMC decision, it's also ok.

Wow, thats a good news, cause im afraid with ny application im still gathering documents. Hopefully i could submit everything by December... and my Ielts will expire around end in January of next year...

Just make sure that you have taken eligibility assessment and have registered an NMC account, before your IELTS expires.
