Hi guys,

I am a Canadian nurse working in Canada at the moment. I have about 1.5 years of experience on an acute med/surg floor. I am also license in minnesota. I recently got hired by Emerald Health Travel Nursing, and I got a TN Visa from them, and obtained a SSN. I applied for the CA RN licensure via endorsement online on september 17th, 2012. I sent in all the requirements:

- Livescan (done in California)

- Passport photo

- Transcripts (because i am trained in Canada) along with extra course description paperwork

- Nursys

- also called minnesota board of nursing to ask them if i need to provide CA board of nursing anymore info regarding my licensure in minnesota, they said no.

So i sent all this in probably by Oct 7, 2012

and my school UBC is probably taking a little bit of time to send in my transcripts.

so today is Oct 16, 2012

I am a little concerned whether there are problems with my application etc.

the California board of nursing is impossible to reach, they never answer their phone, let alone emails etc. I don't know whether I should be concerned! Any help please?

Hi there,

Did u get your license yet? Or have received a letter from them that they received your application yet? Coz I applied for endorsement as well & haven't heard anything from their office yet.. Im also worried if there's a problem with my application.. I even tried calling them but no one is answering..

I never received a letter saying that they received my application, but I did get an online confirmation saying "initial application sent to board". However, there is no where that indicates whether or not they have received the supplemental stuff. They do not answer their phones that's for sure. How long has it been for you since you sent in all your stuff?

Hey! So have you heard anything yet? I am in the very same situation, just waiting for Minn to send CGFNS confirmation that I passed the NCLEX so I can get my Visa Screen cert.

I applied last month but I haven't heard anything from them yet..
