I'm not a retaker, it's my first time applying. But after reading everyones comment, I'm now starting to get worried that they might deny me also since I also finish my BSB course in the Philippines! For the documents from the school, I submitted Request for transcript, Transcript of records, Summary of related learning experience, Breakdown of educational program, Certification of clinical rotation with CI’s signature and Clinical rotation schedule.Last edit by jheneh on Jan 19, '12 - Jan 19, '12 by elvinzeI applied in NY. Because i have relatives in there. That will be the most practical thing to do right now. Just move to other state than waiting for CABRN to change their mind about their new policies. I think BON already made their final decision because of the letter i received from them they told me that my options are to continue my study here in CA for a year or take LVN licensure or just move to another state if i really want to take the RN licensure.ratnik13 likes this.
- Jan 19, '12 by elvinzehi! i also received a letter that the bon sent you. i'm a retaker. you know what? the analyst told me the same thing about nursing school in the phillipines. and it's really offensive and discriminating! i think and hope that somebody from the philippines/ched should act on this issue. something wrong is really going on in here.
the bon suggested to continue my education here in ca for a year or i can take the license for lvn or go to other state where the cgfns is the one verifying the credentials because they are not as strict as cabrn. i chose to move to other state. i don't wanna waste my time and i don't want go to school right now. i need a job. that's why i decided to move, cause i think that will be the most practical thing for me to do.

- Jan 19, '12 by Ginger's MomUS grads have to take clinical and theory together. Also if you fail the exam the school is notified and asked to examine why they passed a student who failed. What is the safe guard for California patients when candidates fail when their education did not prepare them for CA nursing? The only issueS I see is that they allow some classmates test when they deny others and they allowed you to test and now denying you. They should be constitent with all.
- Jan 19, '12 by greenjungleThe Licensing Analyst I spoke to also told me that "Filipinos are greedy" and just want to make lots of money (something to that effect). quote. Hey, who doesn't want to make money doing a hard day's or night's work and paying taxes honestly as an RN here in the US to survive and feed her family. Everybody needs money to live and support the economy. God have mercy and enlighten those in authority, we're all human and would you be happy on your deathbed knowing you destroyed another nurse's life and future? Life is short, we should pray for all.Last edit by greenjungle on Jan 19, '12 : Reason: Clarify the quote
