I just had an interview for UTHSC houston's FNP MSN program... hoping intensely that I made it in but I have to wait another half a month!!!

so now I'm wondering if anyone knows what percentage of interviewed applicants get accepted into the program?

or even if you have anything interesting to say about the UTHSC Houston, or FNP programs

Mine just had the same information as myUTH and the email I received after I accepted the admission offer. Official acceptance letter, orientation date/ location, and preadmission requirements.

Can anyone tell me what the first semester is like? I have been accepted as a full time student for FNP in the fall and I'm just wondering what the class schedule is like.

thank you :)

Hi, I started the FNP program in 5/13. I worked PRN and quit in October to focus on school, but that's what was best for me. There are plenty of people that work full-time in the program. I would say that it is best to start in the summer vs fall b/c it spreads out the course load a bit. The fall semester has been the toughest so far. All in all, I really like the program - no complaints...other than that I wish it was closer (live 40 miles away), so it is a lot of driving to med ctr.

Good luck!!!
