Good place to look for Medical Jobs

U.S.A. North Carolina

Hey everyone!

I'm interested in getting a job in the medical field in my area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, NC), but I don't really know where to look. I don't have a CNA or a nursing degree, but I'd like to find a job where I can get a little experience while finishing my pre-reqs. I've been looking on craiglist, but I haven't had much luck. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Are you looking to become a CNA? I'm sure there are 6-12 week type of programs associated with hospitals or other agencies which would help you find a job. You could work in a hospital system then, or with some experience, work in home health..

Yeah..I've had difficulty finding something like you describe (i.e. a 6-12 week type of program associated with a hosptial or other agency). The only CNA training I have come across is at the local CCs (and the training is four months in duration, with lengthy meeting times twice per week!). I'm reluctant to do this because it would mean having to put off starting my pre-reqs. :uhoh3:
