FTCC or RCC (Robeson community college) Need Guidance Please Help!!

My name is Lachell and what I want most in the world is to become a nurse. I'm an active duty soldier and it was hard for me to take my a & p1 class at Fayetteville Technical College so I dropped the course with a grade of 76(which did't count) Usually that's a C but at FTCC it's considered a D, which will not fly in any nursing program. I also had a Lecture Professor that was extremely hard on her tests compared to other Professors. My question is, Fayetteville Tech cc is on a 4 point scale, are there any other colleges not far from fayetteville that are not?? Or are there any other colleges nearby that have great a & P professors. I only have 1 more chance to take this class. I want to make it count.

Thanks in advance!

ok cool thanks for your reply and good luck with your last semester!

What do you want to know?

Lachell, i've been following this thread for a while now. I see it's quite old lol. Did you ever end up going to Robeson? I'd like to talk to any of you in this thread about school! I've decided against FTCC because of all the bad reviews. I hear Methodist is really expensive? It's also a 4 year degree though. I'm wondering how hard it is to get into that school? Robeson almost seems like my best bet. My whole issue is i'm scared to death of failing. I've been out of high school for 13 years. I've got 2 small kids. I will be going back to school next fall. My youngest is only 3, so i have to wait until she starts pre-k next year. I hear nursing is so hard, i don't even know if i'd make it in the program. I am just gonna go for it though, and i really need to stop doubting myself. Also i really wanted to know if you guys remember the school schedule for nursing at Robeson? My issue is being able to take/pick up my kids from school and i'm really hoping it works out that while they're in school, i'm in school. I can't find any info online about the schedule. How many days/what hours. Anyway, are any of you still there?? This thread is over a year old. lol.

I know this thread is very old, but did you ever end up applying to RCC?

Sorry for the laaaaaaate reply. I actually got out of the army in 2012 and moved back to my home to Florida and went to Nursing school here. I ended up getting my BSN and I passed my nclex on may 11th! Everything happened for a reason. Hope all is well!
