WHO got in NYU 15 accelerated with a 2.99 GPA or higher??

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering who got into NYU 15 months accelerated nursing program, with a gpa of 2.99 or higher in their previous degree, and with 3.70 or more in their pre-requisites? I want to compare to see If I still have a chance in getting in. Thank you.:imbar

I haven't applied to NYU, though I have attended one of their information sessions. They're very friendly and very helpful, so I think you should call admissions and ask about your likelihood for acceptance. They also put a great deal of emphasis on the essays, so they take into strong consideration your ability to write.

I applied, but haven't been accepted or anything (we have to wait until after the March 1 deadline) but my pre-req GPA is significantly higher than my undergrad GPA. I like the fact that the NYU essay, though it has many steps/essays, seems to be very well-rounded. You have to write a couple of short essays and a personal statement. I feel like if they should understand my desire to attend their program and join the nursing profession after all that...
