Want to get started asap in NY help appreciated

Hi all,

Im 29 and have a bachelors in psych(lib arts basically) and have finally found out what I would like to pursue as a career. I would love to attain my BSN as soon as possible, but it seems that I just missed the boat for the accelerated program at Stony Brook. The program starts summer 2014 but all prerequisites must be completed by this September and I am short 3 courses (Anatomy & Physiology 1 + 2, as well as Microbiology). I would hate to wait until summer of 2015 before I could start my program, as I'm trying to start my life already. Does anyone have recommendations on NY schools where I could start earlier, 2 year programs are fine for me.

Also, my overall gpa is 2.8 which is not good (had a tough time right after high school and dropped out). My past 60 credits have been 3.4.

Hi Matt - another Stony Brook hopeful here! They require that you have THREE science pre-reqs finished by the time of application (September) for the accelerated BSN, not ALL of them. Does that help?
