TC3 Students

U.S.A. New York

Anyone here apply to TC3 for the fall? I am waiting anxiously for my letter. I have gotten a lot of conflicting information from people, but the school is very quiet, lol. Everyone says they have a waiting list, but the school says no, you apply each year and either you make it or not, no waiting list. Anyone here know? I already have a science degree, but have to take a lot of classes over again because they are too "old". I am in Bio right now.

Tick tock, lol

There is no wait list for TC3. You do have to apply every year and they only take 60 students each fall.

Thanks for the reply. That is what I thought. I am hoping my chances are good since my college grades rocked, lol. I did notice this week that they changed my major from General Studies to Nursing on-line, so I am hoping that is good news. I guess I will just have to wait a couple more weeks and see. Are you in the program at Tc3?

I am graduating from TC3's nursing program this May. If they changed your major I would think that is definitely a good sign but I didn't notice that when I was applying. I really enjoyed my program and like the instructors. I think that they are really fair when it comes to everything. Good luck!

Actually, there IS a waiting list for TC3. They outright accept 60 each year and put 20 on the list. They generally end up taking 12-14 student off the wait list as originally accepted student drop out for whatever reason (not passing their pre-req class, personal issues, etc.)

How do I know this?

I was on the wait list. (Now entering my 2nd year)

I start on Thursday yay! I was told there was a waitlist of several hundred students, but that is not the case. This year, they had over 1500 applicants, took the "top" 63, adn then had a waitlist. I have met several over the past week that were on that list. I can't wait to start.

Congrats on starting! Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that first day, especially if they still do the scavenger hunt that has you gallivanting all over the building, lol.

I know this is a super old thread, but I am on the TC3 wait list and I was wondering if you could elaborate on your experience. How long were you on the wait list for? Is it typical for them to admit 12-14 students every year? Any information would be helpful!
