South Nassau Communities Hospital - OR Training Program

U.S.A. New York

Published

Hello,

I interviewed 2 weeks ago for the RN OR Training program at SNCH, but I am yet to hear back from HR. I was told everyone will be contacted regardless of the decision. Did anyone else attend the interview and receive any feedback? I have sent several emails and left messages but cannot get a response :(.

Were new grads able to apply?

I don't believe so. It wasn't specified in the job posting.

Goat_Boy,

I am sorry i read your post incorrectly. Yes New Grads were able to apply. I am a new grad and I interviewed.

Oh because I saw one recently and I believe it was only for experienced nurses. I guess perhaps it was different but I do wish you luck on your interview. They may still be deliberating and it always takes a while for the ball to get moving.

How do you think you did during your interview? What kinds of questions did they ask?

I interviewed with HR first and believe I did great during that round. My second interview was with a panel consisting of 4 Nursing Managers and Nursing Directors. It was a little intimidating and I was nervous but otherwise I think I did ok.

By the way Goat_Boy, SNCH just posted another New Grad Residency for Telemetry.

Oh yea I actually saw that. I have to write the essay for it when I have time.

Well as long as you think you did the best you could. Interviews really do suck though.

DestinedRN did you ever hear back from SNCH??? Also what experience did you have when you applied…such as working as a patient care tech or CNA while in nursing school?

hows the interview process? what questions did they ask
