Some questions for you folks out there..

U.S.A. New York

Published

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for lending me your time. I need some guidance. I am finally graduating NYU in Nutrition in May. I really want to go back to school and get a second degree in Nursing.

Issues...

1- GPA is not very high [below 3.0] :uhoh21:

I have not taken all of my pre-reqs. After I grad. I plan to spend all my time and energy in excelling in every single one to make up for my not-so-attractive GPA. I am also planning to get some kind of volunteer position in a hospital soon..

From what you guys have dealt with out there [competition, etc..] what kind of advice can you offer me as I make this transition? Do schools really focus on undergrad GPA or are they more concerned about pre-req GPA?

Also, I read from other posts that employers pay for school etc. What kind of jobs do this? How difficult is it to find an employer willing to do this?

Any information and feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
