Rn student! Did not pass my boards! Can I take LPN exam????

i gradtuated from rn school

so i have my assoc degree as a rn but i did not pass my boards

it has been a while so i was wondering if anyone can tell me if i can take the LPN boards?

its just more convienent for me and studying so just let me know please

NY state LPN licensure requirements: NYS Nursing:Laws, Rules & Regulations:Article 139

[h=3]6906. Requirements for a license as a licensed practical nurse.[/h] To qualify for a license as a licensed practical nurse, an applicant shall fulfill these requirements:

  2. Education: have received an education including completion of high school or its equivalent, and have completed a program in practical nursing, in accordance with the commissioner's regulations, or completion of equivalent study satisfactory to the department in a program conducted by the armed forces of the United States or in an approved program in professional nursing;...
