Hello! Just got my letter in the mail yesterday stating that I got in the program. Any one else going to be in the interview this Tuesday?!

Oh ok. I don't know what criteria that is. Are you going to the orientation in August?

Yes I'll be there for the orientation. Did you get your uniforms yet? I went to the store to order them and they gave them to me right there. I guess they had extras. FYI if u haven't ordered them yet, they run big.

No I didn't go yet. I guess I should get on it ASAP. I don't live too far from the store.

How'd the meeting go?

The meeting went well. Im excited about it. They discussed the Farmingdale agreement with Nassau. I registered for the farmingdale class. It's one Farmingdale nursing class a semester until you graduate Nassau. The classes are taught on Nassau campus. After you graduate nassau you have to take the nclex and pass that summer. After that you have an automatic seat at Farmingdale in their baccalaureate program. You don't have to compete with other students who are applying. So your basically working on your bachelors while getting your associates.

That sounds awesome! I don't think I'd be able to handle more than one nursing class at a time. Have you registered for Nur 101 yet? I had to wait for them to change my major since I was applying for a second degree. Did u register online or did u go in person?

Yes, I registered the same day we had the interview. In person.

Hello all, I just saw u guys post. I'm currently in the program. I'm in my second semester going to 105. Please take my advice and form a study group, no more than 4 ppl. Also keep ahead of ur reading, read the chapters before class. I advice u this, bc it's a whole lot of work and dedication, this program is not like any other course u have taken. At first it will seem very overwhelming bc it's all new but with good studying and keeping ahead u will be fine. Also the exams get harder and as u go, try n ace all the exams that way when it comes to to final ur not too stress out. If u can achieve a 85 or higher on the four exam before the final u will succeed in the program. Also the concept map takes a lot of time and research especially the graded ones. If u have the reading list u should start reading. Good luck all....

I would love to make a study group if my schedule allows it. I work evenings but free on weekends!

Is everyone in section A1, A2, A3, and A4 in the same class?
