Hello all, I just saw u guys post. I'm currently in the program. I'm in my second semester going to 105. Please take my advice and form a study group, no more than 4 ppl. Also keep ahead of ur reading, read the chapters before class. I advice u this, bc it's a whole lot of work and dedication, this program is not like any other course u have taken. At first it will seem very overwhelming bc it's all new but with good studying and keeping ahead u will be fine. Also the exams get harder and as u go, try n ace all the exams that way when it comes to to final ur not too stress out. If u can achieve a 85 or higher on the four exam before the final u will succeed in the program. Also the concept map takes a lot of time and research especially the graded ones. If u have the reading list u should start reading. Good luck all....

Hello All, If there are any one going to the orientation on Tues Aug 14th, please can you let me know about it and what books we will need for the semester. I am unable to attend that day. The school is aware I am not able to make it, however I will like someone to let me know what happen and what I will need to know. I really appreciate it. Many thanks in advance.

Still try and apply although i dont think that will affect you. Speak to some on in the nursing office they can better advice you.

amkat, Were you accepted fall 2012, if so which block are in?

cpnessa09, I believe she said that you can take BSN courses while your in NCC completing your ASN and once finish you can go right into farmingdale with out applying. She also mention that they will send out a letter with further details.

midylane, I am officially in the program for the Fall 2012 class. There were some ppl that i believe did not show up and other that can not no longer attend. so may be you should try and contact the nursing dept or go up there if you are really interested being that their might be open seats. you never know. cpnessa09, Yes i got into block B3 ( thank god) and I was told that i was also Farmindale elgible. But i was told that other ppl has been asking to switch and they said that ppl can make a swap at orientation, because there are some ppl now that are interested in the day that was accepted in the night. Don't give up just yet. I am so thankful for my acceptance.

I believe i apply to both, but i am really hoping to get the day program because i live in brooklyn. I think you should go anyhow, I know they have different time and schedules. Classes does not start until sept 4th so you have some time to speak with you boss. This is an opportunity you donot want to turn because nursing programs are very hard to get in and besides you dont want to regret it in the future. I honestly believe you should go to the interview and see what they say.

Is there anyone that had an interview today Monday 21st that can give me some details on what to expect at the interview. Thank you.

felicianursetobe, I believe on my application I put both day and evening, so I am not sure which program I was tentitively accepted in. I am hoping and praying its the day however at this point and time I will be happy to take any of the seats. If I am accepted in the day I will like to be in the C block. I will find out on Tuesday 22nd.
