In this thread someone posted what a past student said the interview was like. If you got a letter, you are in.

The interview process isn't a big deal. If you got a letter saying you've been accepted pending an interview then your as good as in. I know 2 people who got in for Jan dring '1r

The interview process is a formality. Your pretty much accepted unless your English really sucks and you can't write. They ask you define a few words, some had to write a small essay and others were given scenarios and asked how would they handle it. I know 2 girls that got in for spring '13 and they gave me the low down on the interview/orientation process. They will also give you your schedule on that day with a packet on what you need to get, uniforms etc. I got my letter yesterday and my interview is on May 20 at 9am!! I'm super excited!!!

Also my Teas score was 68 (proficient) and my GPA on the pre reqs was a 3.5. I also have all my required nursing pre reqs in addition to the ones required to apply (except Med Micro).

Hope that helps!! Good luck to everyone!!!

I got a C+ in A&P 1. Kinda sucky I had a high Average all semester but I think I bombed the final and that's what did me in. Anyway it doesn't matter now I got accepted. I could be wrong but I'm getting the feeling that these ADN programs are loosening up a bit because more people are going straight in to a BSN program. I'm just gonna do my best and when I graduate go straight to a BSN program.

Yeah, I would've gone to a BSN program had they accepted me. I already have a BA and qualify for an accelerated program, but I only got in LIU, and they are super expensive! Getting an associates degree in nursing is a good idea for lots of reasons. This way I get to focus on nursing and do really well. Good luck to you!!!!
