Critical exam. in Montefiore medical center for ICU

Hello,

I'm an experienced RN in ICU for about 10 years with BSN, and I took a kind of break for my baby less than 2 years. I'm trying to go back to my career, and I'm interested in Montefiore. I was told that I have to pass critical exam to be hired in ICU as per diem, part time, or full time prior to an interview. If there is anyone who took this test, can I have a clue what kind of stubs I have to prepare for that exam?

Another one... Is that really hard to be hired as an experienced RN these days?

Thank you... Have a nice weekend!

I think if you get a CCRN certification review book and study it you should be ok. I know most ICUs prefer RNs with CCRN certification so I would think their exam would have content similar to the CCRN exam...with situations as to what would you do in this case and if a patient has X condition.
