Binghamton BAT program 2015-2016

Hey everyone!

Just seeing if anyone out there has applied to this years BAT program approaching for the summer of 2015. I recently submitted my application and marked completed on December 1st. I don't wan't to keep calling the institution and wanted to get a thread started to see where other people are in the process of the application. I haven't heard anything from the program yet, but am waiting anxiously. I hear that letters go out the month of January and February.

Looking forward to hearing from potential BAT's!

Do you guys think that some people have been accepted already? Also, when you log on to status checker and click on transfer transcript and evaluation, do all of you see your undergrad schools listed? When I then click on one of the schools, it states that it is unofficial transcripts but it doesn't list my courses? Do you think that may be indicative of an acceptance? Lol, Maybe I'm going crazy . I haven't seen or heard of anyone getting accepted yet this year, but nurses I work with who did the BAT program got their acceptances in mid January. And when I go to transcript and evaluation it just has my AP grades from high school because I already go to Binghamton so I'm not sure what it means if it doesn't list your courses.

I spoke to someone last Friday and she said they are hoping to send them out in 2-3 weeks! I went to Binghamton as well--where is everyone from?

I went to school at stony brook and i am living on Long Island. Glad to hear they'll be letting us know soon;they took they're sweet time this year. I don't like not knowing but I kind of like that we are all going through this together. Would be worse if everyone knew except me

Hi everyone. I'm wondering if anyone has heard anything regarding admissions to the program. I noticed last Wednesday that my application status changed from complete and ready for review” to decision made” but I haven't received an email or a letter from the University so I do not know what that decision is. I guess it shouldn't be much longer until we start to hear. Good luck!

I received my acceptance letter today! To give you a timeline: my status changed to decision made” on January 21, the letter was dated the 22nd, mailed the 23rd and I received it on the 26th. Keep in mind that with the inclement weather, the mail will likely be delayed. Thank you very much for your support and best of luck to everyone!

Congrats! My bubrain hasn't changed from complete and ready to review but hopefully it will this week. Did you get a letter in the mail or e-mail?

Thanks katye_kate! No, I didn't receive an email. An acceptance package arrived in the mail. I would guess that many of the faculty and staff have not been back from winter break for very long. They may not yet have reviewed all the applications. Good luck! I know waiting isn't easy, but I really do thing the Binghamton is still in the process of reviewing applications.
