I am considering going back and doing some shifts at a hospital. Does anyone know of any hospitals with decent working conditions in Queens or Long Island?

The North Shore/Long Island Jewish System is a magnet facility. If I were you, I would look for work there. They have many locations throughout Long Island, and I think (not sure though)Queens.

If you're interested in working in a Community Hospital that's warm and friendly, try Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre, Long Island. It's right off the Southern State Exit 19. Their Nurse Recruiter, Denise, is great at matching the right person with the right position. The orientation is good and the preceptor program helps you ease back into the hospital setting. The Mission of the hospital is evident in the people who work there and they have some exciting goals for 2004..........one's that nurses can really buy into.
