hi, i did my LPN exams on may 18..nw im relli scared about my result..i don't know wat's gonna happen...is thr anyone who knos the result is goning to come out????

Hi KAURKAUR: Daggg u still didnt get the results back it about to be a month did u you call the school and ask about it ???

Hello, i know this post is old but some reply's are newer. I am graduating the lpn program at ramsey next week and previously took the MA in nutley. The MA does give you a upper hand with having less classes to take at the start and gives you that extra study time that you WILL need. The program was great I loved it all, the professers and students. The schedule changes every 3 months, first is gerentology nursing process AP and medical term (if you havent taken them) and of course clinical, then its on to med surg with a second dose of Ap and medical term clinical and pharmalogy 1., then off to maternity/peds which is the busiest seeing as you have a 8 hour lecture day and 2 clinical days medical law and only 6 weeks of maternity and peds lecture each i found this the most challenging. last but not least was psych which is just lecture and clinical and a nclex prep class.... you need a 75 to pass tests and move on , also a ATI test is given in each subject and counted as 5% toward your grade, in psych you must pass the ATI exit exam ( your given 2 chances) ... you may fail one nursing course and repeat but after the second failure your basically out unless you appeal. you also have to pass a clinical check off for each subject... its intense that is for sure but you make true friends and learn a lot. as for the bridge, we were told after you pass the nclex as long as you went to school there you can come in and take the rn entrance exam which was described to us as "just like the nclex" so know your pharm calculations and mainly med surg i would think, it is a 50 dollar test and you may take it 2x in a year.you need 1000 hours in a job as titled "LPN" and signed off by your boss it doesnt matter if it takes you 3 months or 12 months the requirment is just 1000 hours your rn entrance results are held for 1 year... if any one has questions please feel free to ask id be glad too answer what i can.:nurse:

Hello donna1985 i was wondering about the entrance exam I havent been in school in a while and wanted to know what exams I have to take to get in and what should I study and how you felt about the program in general how would you rate it, also what time does the day program start and if you know when do the start lpn program every month etc. Thank you :) and congratulations :yeah::clpty:

hello :) well if you are planning on doing the lpn. rn. or lpn to rn bridge program changes the things you need... if you want you can go to www.eastwick.edu , the entrance test for lpn is basically everything.. reading/writing/math... its like any entrance exam at a college.. if you have a&p classes and such they will accept your credits and you dont have to retake those classes. i went the school for my cma first so i bypassed the lpn entrance since i got my cma from that school but the classes are great most of the teachers are very helpful and i enjoyed every mintue of my time there... its a acclerated program so its a lot in a small amount of time. if you want you can also just try to enter the rn program through a similar entrance exam. i am not sure i answered everything, but you are welcome to email me with any questions. i just took and passed nclex and goin to do my rn entrance shortly :) ... Hello everyone !!!! I'm starting my RN program at Eastwick next month!!! So exited))) if any body already there????

Hi, I'm starting the LPN program at the end of this month and I'm kind of excited and nervous. Any pointers on how to study and get through the classes?

First Anharit5.. Good Luck! A couple of my friends are in the RN program now after doing the bridge... and Sliver113 I know you started already but if either of you would like please email me and we can chat in detail. [email protected]

I know this is an old thread but, I still decided to leave a post anyway. I just recently graduated from Eastwick College (Hackensack) in April 2013. I took my NCLEX July 8th and passed. The LPN to RN bridge is still only at the Ramsey campus. It was supposed to start being offered at the Hackensack campus in April. They wouldn't offer any details as to what happened. Anyway I just received my application in the mail today. You no longer have to work first to be considered for the RN program. The cost of the program is around $33000:cry:. The entrance exam is the LPN step. :)I'm almost certain its an ATI test. Not so bad from what i've heard from people that have taken it. Some what like the NCLEX-PN again. There still is a wait list. April 2014 was the earliest I was told I'd get in. Which Isn't that bad to me. 1yr after I finished the LPN program. Gives me some time to work and gain some expierence. I can't wait to go back!

Nurse_thema let me know when you take your test im interested k going too I graduated from hackensack too ...
