Hi Carleen. I just wanted to say welcome and good luck. I'm currently an LPN student (across the border in NYC) and I'll be done with my program in Sept '06. My best advice to you is to STAY focused. My program started in March of this year with 27 students and we're down to 16. A few people dropped due to personal problems, but the majority were dropped from the program due to inadequate grades. Becoming an LPN is not an impossible task but you WILL need to be determined and focused. Believe me I know it's not always easy but if your program is anything like mine getting IN was half the battle. You've made it this far so do your best to stay focused and learn everything you can. I'm not really sure I've given you the uumph you were looking for but I know you will do well. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask. I've just started my second week of clinical but I'll help you any way that I can. Best of luck. :)
