U.S.A. Nevada

Nevada State College 2015 - Are you as excited as I am? My 1st choice is regular F/t and I apply for the spring cohort this September, after my TEAS. Are you f/t, p/t, bridge or accelerated track?... Why did you choose your track & why at NSC? What are you most looking forward to in our NSC BSN program? Have you toured our UMC simulation lab yet? :inlove:

By the way, there's talk of double cohorts this term so 32 ft, 32 pt and this will make it very possible for all competitive applicants to get in. Rest assured :nurse:

I called today and they said that letters should be sent out this week and we'll get them sometime next week...but they also said that last week about this week. I just hope we get them before spring 2015 registration starts on November 3rd.

I just got an email update about my application, and they said they are sending out all letters on the first week of November, and the orientation is on the 25th of November. I'm so nervous and excited at the same time. Good luck to all of us.

Here is there website of NSC's statistics of past accepted applicants:

Tired of stalking your mailbox? Just got off the phone with the School of Nursing. Supposedly the letters are REALLY going out this Friday(tomorrow). So, by Saturday or Monday we should know. Both acceptance and rejection letters will be mailed out. Good luck everyone!

That is so annoying! They are being completely unprofessional!

Got my letter today! I got in to the Regular Track for Spring 2015. :)

Hello, does anyone know when they will be taking apps for FALL 2015? I am wanting to apply but only see summer 2015 application on their website and that was due last month!

Hi, do you mind sharing what your status was??? Your GPa and Teas score?? I am from California. It's so hard to get in to any nursing school in cali. I am applying to Nevada state collage BSN for 2917 and i would really appreciate it if you can tell me.

This cohort just graduated this past Dec. Our GPA ranged from 3.68-3.9 and our TEAS scores were from 68%-91%. Much has changed in terms of getting into the program now. These last few cohorts that recently started have GPAs starting from 3.2 or lower. Good Luck!
