Is anyone applying for Spring 2015 Nursing Program 2015? I applied for Fall 2014 with 37 points and will be applying for Spring 2015 with 38 points. Does anyone have pointers for the application process? Has anyone gone to the limited entry workshop? I have been discouraged, and need some uplifting information.

Today is the beginning of the next chapter in my life! I will be applying for the spring for the RN program I should have between 36-38 points. I am hopeful that I will be selected.

I am wondering what I can be doing to prepare for the math that we will be tested on at the beginning of next semester. Thanks!

I was in your shoes 2 years ago (can't believe it's been that long!) and I will be graduating from CSN in December. The math tests are EVERY semester with 2 tests in 2nd and 3rd semesters and they have been the biggest hurdle for me. I failed my 101 test in 1st semester the first time but passed on the retake (they allow one per test). Same thing happened in 2nd semester. It's very stressful but the best thing for me was going to the Toolbox class (nurs 285) that is offered between every semester in the summers and winters. This class will teach you everything you need to know about math for semesters 1-3. I knew NOTHING about this math before and it took me a long time to get the hang of it but this class literally saved my butt from failing out of the program. It's 1.5 credits and 2.5 weeks of your life that in my opinion is VERY important!! You can also it in on the class for free in future semesters to brush up on your skills. Good luck! Does anyone know what address information I ought to put on the ATI testing Site for my score sheet transcript? and how long it took for any of you to see it on your "MyCSN"?

Yay congrats!? I was there too today... thought it might be a good class to take in the meantime as a warm up. .had my application ready but was told i need to wait until my TEAS transcript shows in the system..

Do you mind telling me how long it took for your teas transcript to get processed?

I will be applying for Spring '15 as well. I'm attending the 5/29 application workshop. I will probably be chosen as alternate since I haven't taken BIOL 224 (taking it this fall) and pray I still get into the program lol. I should have around 28 points.

It's possible you would get accepted. When I talked to the limited entry office they said the minimum they were accepting was 28 pts.

Just retook my TEAS and passed. I am now ready to submit my application again for the Sept. 1st deadline with 36 pts. Anyone else getting ready to submit for this deadline?

I submitted a credit evaluation form this past March and I received the notice beginning of May on it but I saw that it was approved beginning of April on my what-if report. Im hoping my evaluation I'm sending in second week of August gets processed by Sept 1st for biol 224. The school said they will try and get it done quickly since i'm applying to a limited entry program. I should have 41 pts if I can get 2 pts on my TEAS otherwise without biol 224 i'm sitting at 31 pts :-/

Even with 31 pts you have a good chance of getting in. Stay positive!
