Anyone here applying for fall? :)

I wish!!! It seems like we have been waiting forever to find out.......they have to know by now. Maybe I'll start drinking now to pass the time.

I hate to admit it, but i think I drank more during the time I was waiting on the call than I ever did :/ it's so freakin' stressful!!

@mrsmommy The immunization stinks Im sorry you have to do it allll! Where are you looking for most of your supplies??

I found a bunch of stuff on sale on the allheart.com site. That is where I found the stethoscope I want :) I picked out this one Littmann Classic II S.E. Stethoscope | allheart.com I think I'm going to get it in raspberry with the rainbow chestpiece. I really like that website, and I'm not sure of any others. They had the best pricing when I was looking at stethoscopes.

Stethoscope | allheart.com I think I'm going to get it in raspberry with the rainbow chestpiece. I really like that website, and I'm not sure of any others. They had the best pricing when I was looking at stethoscopes.

I have that stethoscope and I love it! I have hearing problems and I have no problems with it. I got a hot pink one with my name engraved on the bell so (hopefully) it wont grow legs and walk away.

I am staying positive. I have picked out classes to take next semester if I don't get in to work towards my BSN. I am going for the part time program because I have to work. It will suck if I didn't get in but I have to keep moving forward.

I got the same stethoscope! It arrived today! I'm so glad you like it Christina. It's on sale at amazon, but the black was cheapest so I just got that. No engraving though...I get everything through amazon prime. As others have said, it's awesome!! I hope to get all my books there too and save a bunch of cash. My hubby and I joke that it almost feels like we purchase with pretend money because the stuff just shows up and we never have to shell out any actual cash!!

Oh, and for the record, I plan to start Thursday with a socially acceptable day drinking beverage or two!! (Mimosas or bloody Mary's). I hope not to have to dig into the patron (but I'm not ruling it out!).

I'm going to be glued to this board to see your posts when they start the calls!!! Wonder if its in any order? Alphabetical? Or just a list of names? Yikes...can you tell I'm obsessed?

Right! I hear that stethoscopes get stolen all the time!! I was looking at the Littmann Classic ll also! I think Im going with Ocean Blue and having it engraved as well!

So just curious, what all have you guys done to get "ready"? So far I got my immunizations, physical and got my CPR taken care of. Ive been debating buying things like stethoscopes and BP cuffs and was wondering what you guys were doing or thought on the buying things for the program!?

I'm about halfway through my immunizations and have the BP cuff and stethoscope. I need to get on the CPR though for sure. You're so prepared EmmmGrace! I've bought only "Nursing Fundamentals Demystified". I read the first couple chapters and fell asleep in the middle....hope it's not a foreshadowing of things to come! :roflmao:

Oh man!!! im so the same wayyyy!! Im so excited and nervous and everything all put together! I cant wait to hear when people start getting calls!! Im not sure the way they contact people but I hope its not alphabetical or im at the wayyy end! :(

You will also need a 2 step TB test...BUT, wait till like June/July to get the TB test and physical done. They will have to be updated every year, and you want them done after the semester is done to cover you till the end of Spring 2014! And usually at the first orientation they will have A Littman rep doing stethoscope sales. Can't promise this time because I'm not running it :o
