Can anyone help me? I don't know how to start studying, every time I try to start studying it seems like I just give it a minuet or 2 then I stop and get distracted and do something else. I WANT TO BE MOTIVATED, I WANT TO STUDY, I WANT TO BE READY ASAP. If anyone can help me out, I bought the Nclex-Pn Content review guide (Kaplan) that came with the Qbank questions, if anyone can help me make a study schedule it would be great...

Thank youuu! :roflmao:

p.s.

I am overwhelmed, and scared. Please help.

Have you done some sort of self analysis so you know what your weaknesses are? Is content your weakness and are you weak in a particular area (e.g. OB/peds)? Is strategy (how to answer the questions) your main issue? This would help you know what to focus on as you review. For me personally, I felt ok with content but strategy was an issue so practicing answering questions and reading rationales was how I reviewed. I did not spend time reviewing any content other than what I read in the rationales.

You also need to get rid of whatever is distracting you be it social media, TV or even family issues. Go to a different location to study..like maybe your public library. If you have kids, arrange for a baby sitter so you can have time to prepare.

I would recommend doing the Kaplan Qbank questions. Doing questions will help you review content and you can always go back and read content in detail if you find you are getting the same type of questions wrong. Always read the rationales for every single question whether you get it wrong or right. Kaplan also has a study schedule in that book that tells you how many Qbank questions to do a day depending on how much time you have until your test date.
