Took NCLEX-PN this last saturday here in California at the Pearson Vue center in San Francisco. What a stresfull event! My appointment was at 3:45, but I didn't get there until 4:40. I thought for sure that they were going to forfeit my registration, but sure enough, they were very empathetic and allowed me to test.

I received 85 questions (The minimum) and I counted 41 Select all that Apply. No dosage calculations at all and probably five questions to arrange in the correct order. I was so nervous but thankful it shut off at 85. I knew in that case that based on CAT testing and NCLEX standards, I either did horrible or I did fabulous.

Two hours after testing, I received this message: "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." I have read that this is the "good popup" and it has yet to take me to the credit card registration page, so that means that I PASSED.

I called the BVNPT today 07/24/12, and they said that they were working on results from 07/12/2012. I am so excited and very thankful. Now it's time to start LVN-RN bridge in September.

On August 6th, My official results were processed and I in fact DID pass my NCLEX-PN examination. I drove to the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians in Sacramento and paid for my initial license fee of $150 and they gave me a sixty day temporary license. This confirms that the Pearson Vue "trick" does in fact work and the moment I received the message when trying to re-register, "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time", I knew that I had passed.
